1、 Basic Overview of China's Current Machinery and Equipment Industry

（1） The position and main composition of the large-scale mechanical equipment industry

Large mechanical equipment is one of the important pillar industries for the development of the national economy. As an important component of the equipment industry, its main application fields include urban infrastructure construction, national defense, energy industry, and so on. And China has a wide variety of engineering machinery, making it one of the countries with the most complete product categories and varieties of engineering machinery in the world. It has 20 major categories, 109 groups, 450 models, 1090 series, and tens of thousands of models of product equipment. At present, excavators account for the highest proportion of construction machinery products in China, exceeding 20%, followed by loaders and cranes, accounting for 8.89% and 5.21% respectively.

（2） Mainstream management mode in the large-scale mechanical equipment industry

Large mechanical equipment management refers to the entire process management of enterprises for the purchase, operation, production, use, maintenance, renovation, disposal and scrapping of large mechanical equipment products. There are currently three main management modes for mainstream enterprises:

1. Fixed matching management mode

The fixed matching management mode is a concentrated embodiment of the traditional management mode, which assigns large mechanical equipment to a certain engineering project in a fixed manner, and no further mobilization of these mechanical equipment is required before the end of the project construction cycle. This management mode is conducive to ensuring the continuity and stability of mechanical equipment, improving the service life of mechanical equipment, and fully utilizing the technical management form of traditional mechanical management mode. However, with the rapid increase of new energy construction projects in various provinces and cities, the fixed matching management model is not only difficult to adapt to the current industry development needs, but also brings certain economic losses to enterprises.
